Pluto stripped of planethood!!

Actually, pluto is really the Death Star. It took those new space telescopes to see it well enough to realize it meant business. Hopefully, we haven't pissed it off.

Weren't there like two or three other objects they were considering calling planets that they found way out there?

I think that's what triggered the whole "Is Pluto Really a Planet?" debate. There are a bunch of objects out there that are pretty similar to Pluto in structure; if you don't want to consider THEM planets, then you really can't call Pluto a planet either.
