I'm reading where she likes photography and has a Mac...maybe get her the gift of a class on how to work Photoshop like a pro or a weekend photography workshop. She makes jewlery, so maybe she just needs a nudge to really tap into her artistic side. She might really appreciate something like that.

Honestly, I looked at the platinum roses and didn't care for them, but many agree that I am only genetically female. My opinion probably doesn't count.

If I were to get the rose I was planning on building a small box to frame it for the wall in. The rose by itself she wouldn't like but if I turned it into a unique or "qwirky" wall decoration she would have.

All in all there were some great ideas on here and I thank you all! I settled on a case for the new phone she got last week, a bluetooth car speaker for the phone and her GPS (a christmas present), and organizing her friends to go out to a dueling piano bar this saturday which is something she loves to do but can never get everyone out on the same night.

Groupon is running a deal with Fabness.com where you can get any picture printed on a 16x20 canvas for $39, regular like $129...Probably wouldn't get to you in time for her birthday but at least you could say "it's in the mail...I didn't forget, honest!"

It looks really good too. My sister did that with a picture of my niece as a Christmas gift to my dad. It looked a lot better than we expected.

Not true! I'm a chick (genetically) and I would FAR rather have other stuff.

Matter o' fact, El Hubbo's first Valentine's Day gift to me was a rear shock for my motorcycle. I adored it, and the thought. Some piece of shiny crap in a pretty box would probably be catching dust on the back of a shelf today. It just isn't for me.
