Hi all, I was whipping up my first mead this morning and all went well, or so I thought. The recipe is below, with the goal being a medium sweetness mead:

4 Gallon Spring Water
15lb Orange Blossom Honey
2 pkt 71B
Fermax, DAP

OG: 1.108

Well, during cleanup I realized I had pitched a packet of 71B AND a packet of K1-V1116, instead of 2 packets of 71B. I don't think I ruined the batch, but was hoping someone can help me understand what to expect, and if there is any way to still get a medium sweetness mead out of this batch, or will I end up with some high ABV dry mead?

I appreciate the help!

Thanks all! I was thinking about putting 10-15# of strawberries in the secondary - any thoughts on if this should be omitted given this error in order to not achieve the full 18% (with 1.108 I should get around 15%).
