Why would you want to drink the wash??

There shouldn't be anything that would keep you from drinking it. In fact, I think you really SHOULD drink it to see if it's suitable for further use.

If you taste anything "wrong", you can make a decision on what to do next. And remember, even if you think it's not all that great, you are removing almost all of the flavor at any rate.

As a final note, I am disregarding the intended purpose for this thread. We have a ZERO tolerance for discussing distilling here. So long as you recognize that and keep to discussing the yeast or anything PRE-distillation there won't be a problem. If you wish to discuss distilling, I highly recommend homedistiller.org.

actually sorry I may be using the wrong term. I meant the alcohol liquid left after the process is finished

Are you planning on freeze concentrating this wash? Surely, you aren't perpetuating a conversation about that which you were already told by a moderator cannot be discussed. I've never had yeast turn pink. I've also not used the turbo yeast before, so perhaps it is normal for that strain, not sure.

If you mean the spirits, then I think you need to take this to homedistiller.org. It sounds like you need to have a better grasp of the process than you do now.
