PID with an RTD sensor wiring help

I am wiring up a control panel with the wiring diagram below and have a question about the wiring for the RTD sensor on the PID. In the diagram it has red wires to pins 3 and 4, a white wire to pin 5 and another white wire jumping from pin 5 back to pin 3 but in the manual for the PID on the auber instruments website it does not show this, just red wires to pin 3 and 4 and a white wire to pin 5. Wondering which way would be correct.

There isn't a white jumper from pin 5 to pin 3 in your diagram. That's just a gray box outlining the pid.
