ph range

My soil has a ph of 5.5. I have a feeling it sould be higher. What is the best range for hops

It sould be between 6.0 and 6.5. Just add some lime and it will bring it up. Try not to get it on the plants leaves if you use powdered lime. Hope this helps.

I have them in 30 gallon containers. How much lime should I add.

I would start with about a "shot glass" amount, water a few times to let it get absorbed over a couple of days and check again. You just want to make sure that you do not add to much.
