I just bought a "forward seal" faucet from northern brewer. With the name forward seal i figured that when i pulled the tap forward the beer would stop. But thats not the case. It dispenses in the front and stops in the back.

Am i confusing the name??

foward seal just means that the faucet is sealed near the front so as not to allow alot of the inside to be exposed to air.

It sounds like you might have had a couple of "Oh ****!" seconds when you hooked up your open faucet.
