Hello everyone!
Search says zero results for “false bottom” so I’m asking for help.
I’m planning on building a 14” false bottom for my Mash tun. Not only will it be for filtration but also to keep it from scorching on the bottom.
My question is: how big should the holes be on the screen? I’ve seen everything from 1/4 in perforated to 400 micron sheets. Each company seems to have their own size preference.
