Pellets in Hop Randall?

I'd like to get the combo hop randall beer filter from homebrewstuff, but it says to use whole hops and I only buy hop pellets.

Is it OK to use hop pellets in a randall/filter?

Hmmmmm... Maybe add a bunch of rice hulls and put a nylon bag over the pick-up tube holes? I dunno... I have a homemade version of the Randall and have pondered this myself...

I would think pellets would plug that thing up by around the third pint...nylon bag or not...
