So out of curiosity... do any of you use Hop pellets for the last couple minutes of your boils for flavor/aroma?

Have been curious as to whether or not you would get good flavor/aroma out of pellets in such a short boil...... I don't have enough experience to know but it seems to me that for flavor/aroma you'd get more out of whole hops in a short boil....

There is really no discernible difference between whole and pellet hops in terms of flavor and aroma. Some brewers believe they experience a smoother flavor/aroma from whole hops. But there is no way of quantifying that experience; you can't measure that in the same way you can measure, say, IBUs.

Some brewers I've talked to say they get better aroma from pellets because the cells have been crushed during processing.
