Patience is a virtue, realized

I brewed up a batch of Old Rasputin russian imperial stout clone in early October and bottled in early November. After about a month I tried one and was very dissapointed. It lacked the strong flavor of Old Rasputin and almost had a sweet taste. Yesterday I opened one and it tasted amazing! I havent had a real Old Rasputin in a long time so Im not sure how close it tastes to what I made but I was very happy. Hopefully it keeps getting better each month.
