I always just put less priming sugar into my pigs (I have 6) but now I'm curious.

They say 1/2 to 1/2 cup of priming sugar MAX. but what does that convert to in ounces of priming sugar (seriously, how measures priming sugar by the cup???)

How much less (as a percentage) should a person add to a pig???

How many dry ounces are in 1/2 cup anyway?

I Just bottled in a party pig with 1/3 cup, my carbonation levels are low, but the flow is slow out of my pig so that may be effecting it. A bad pour never gives good head?

It seem we should use 45% of the normal priming sugar. If 5 oz is the ( incorrect) default and 2.75 oz is the default for pigs.

Then my 3.6oz should be more like 1.8 oz.
