Has anyone used or thought of using a panty hose stocking to reduce the amount of trub/lees transfered when racking? What would be some cons to using one (clean and brand-spankin-new). Thanks.

Head shots kill them quickest, protect the prime minister....what? Oh, is that where they got the name!lol.

I use a hop bag in my bottling bucket, no problems.

I am not too picky though since fine hop particles actually help clear my beers.

Wal-Mart has nylon knee-highs (is that what they're called?) in little plastic bubbles for $0.33 each. I buy a plastic bag full every now and then and put my hops in those rather than cover the siphon. it works well.
