Tasting Notes
smooth and roasty with a touch of sweetness, hint of cascade hops
I used distilled water for mash and sparge... added 0.5 grams of calcium chloride, 0.5 grams gypsum, 1.4 grams epsom salt, 0.9 grams of baking soda and 3.7 grams chalk to mash water... This is the first time I have used distilled water and I do not think I will go back to tap water, the outcome was excellent.
