I just finished pitching the L Plantarum capsules into my Berliner Weisse wort, and as I was doing that, I was curious how the saccharomyces will do with no oxygen in the wort? Is it possible for me to hit the wort with oxygen once I boil again to kill remaining lacto, cool to fermentation temp, and pitch the yeast? In my research, I understand that lacto prefers no oxygen in the wort as it sours.

As normal you're free to oxygenate before pitching yeast!

Lacto doesn't really care whether there's oxygen (it's aerotolerant).

True, you can likely oxygenate. I don’t when I sour with lacto as long as I’m pitching healthy yeast, I let it fight it out and it always does fine. I have not had off flavors making yeast work in a low O2, low pH environment
