Picked up a medical grade oxygen concentrator with 3 ~1.67lb O2 bottles with a regulator. Something a person with Emphysema or other pulmonary diseases would have. About a $1000 machine. Supposed to do 92% O2 concentration. If I put a 1-2 micron filter on this, anyone have any input on whether to aerate with this or not?

Did you get a good deal? $1000 is a bit steep for a brew gadget.

I would definitely use it to aerate, as anything that increases percentage of dissolved oxygen (as opposed to co2 and N2) is helping.

I've seen these on craigslist locally for $75-$175 with "too many hours for medical use". Should be good for your aeration.

No , I didn't pay $1000 for it. Researched it online and it was originally about a $1000 piece of equipment.
