i have a super brown ale that i just tapped and WOW! first draws are nothing but head and thick. tried bleeding the gas and it builds back in a minute or so. i figure it just needs to have a few pitchers drawn off.

provided this is not the case.....any suggestions?

Having the beer cold is important. And it would probably be best if you bleed off the gas and leave it for a little while. How long has it been since force carbing?

It happens. I usually just off gas a bit and let the pressure in the keg push the beer out. Won't take too long to even out
