The recipes calls for 0.25 oz. of Columbus for 60 min. But they sent me a whole ounce of em. Because I have a Black IPA in secondary that I plan on dry hopping tomorrow, could I use the extra columbus to dry hop?
Im a big fan of hoppy IPA's and most black IPA's vie had aren't hoppy enough for my taste.
The question is, Is columbus a good dry hopping hop? If so, should I start with one for a few days then another, or do them together, at once?
Im new to this so im still learning about hop varieties and so on.
Thanks
P.S. The columbus have a alpha of 14.4%
