Open Baladin Hay APA recipe - need help

Hi everyone! A few months ago I tried this hay APA, and now I just have to make one myself!
I found the recipe on the Baladin website, but I need some advice on how to handle a few details.

• “250 g meadow hay (whirlpool at 90°C for 20 min) tea-like infusion.”
  Which type of meadow hay should I use? i can only find them for animals. I need to add the hay during the whirlpool phase when the temperature reaches 90°C after boiling and hold it there for 20 minutes, right?
• “DRY HOP: infusion of 25 g of properly sterilized meadow hay for 7 days.”
  Any suggestions on how to properly sterilize the hay?

Never heard of that 1, but make sure the horse doesn't drink too much of the hay IPA and have to be carried home.
