olive oil in the boil

Would using a bit of olive oil in the boil help prevent, or lesson a boil over? Thanks and happy Thanksgiving!
 
Are you wanting to use it to reduce foam and also so you don't have to aerate? If so it's been a while since I listened to that podcast but if I remember correctly the amount was so minuscule (less than a drop) that it wouldn't do anything to prevent boil overs. If you added enough to prevent boil overs, your beer would suffer. +1 what revvy said, get some fermcap-s.
