So, i've had a yest starter sitting in the fridge for a bit over a month. I was reading something on another forum about botulism poisoning from sitting wort. I don't think I have to worry about that as it was a finished starter so it should be beer now not wort. Anyways, my questions are, do I have to worry about botulism poisoning AND should the starter still be viable. My next batch of starter wort is on the stove right now so any help ASAP would be appreciated, lol

poison - no
viability - probably fine. if you are worried, decant and add fresh wort
