Hi, im new to kegging and i have an old regulator that looks pretty dirty. I was wondering whats the best way of cleaning it. I've taken the guages off and was wondering if i could soak everything in pbw? Im not even sure if cleaning is neccesary. Or should i just buy a new shutoff and leave it at that. Thanks for any input.

Don't soak it in anything. You don't want to get the internals wet or corroded. I'd test it first and make sure it does not leak before using it. I have an old reg that leaks and needs to be rebuilt. It's just an extra one so I won't bother fixing it.
