i found this recipie for an ipa and i think it was one of the originals that they used to brew in britain to ship to india. thats what i was looking for to try is one of those type of recipies. any way here it is. i translated it into 1 gallon size because thats what i have equipment for.


it just 2.8 pounds of maris otter with 2.05 oz east kent golding. according to the recipie you just throw all the hops in at the beginning of the boil then let it do its thing

Gotta love those nice old recipes. Pale malt and a boatload of Goldings. Once you start looking at old style beers through a historical lens, everything changes.
 
im not going to be making it for a while. i got a few others i gota go through first. i just thought it was interesting and wanted to get some feedback
