When I got married, I had inquired about a barleywine to be brewed for us. We would share some with the wedding party and enjoy the rest as the years went on to see how it developed as our relationship did. Then my wife told me that I was a ******* ******* for it and would never support that idea.

Story of my marriage.

That is so cool, that you know have a wedding beer. I'm super jealous.
wow this is awesome! now that’s a ******* haul!

my wedding beer haul was picking up the leftover cans of sculpin that weren’t finished, and i thought i was winning
Getting married at a brewery has it’s perks. Plus I have a good group of friends that took the initiative and coordinated with the brewers, who luckily are also pretty awesome friends.

Beercation 3.0 is in the books. 9 breweries in five days. My wallet was last seen somewhere along the Taconic Parkway. Big time shouts to my awesome wife who not only puts up with this nonsense, but was right there by my side as always. And as a bonus, we got to meet some other TBers for the first time this round, which made the trip that much more special.

The power of asking nicely still works. Ha! CC the sports memorabilia thread. I finally started adding starting lineups to the mix.

Talk about some beer worship photography. Puts my photos to shame.

Apparently the stock of Gooikoorts is almost completely gone and the fill level on these bottles is insane! I've never seen lambic bottles this full, right up to the cork.

Was also there yesterday. That Gooikoorts is something special. Still do not know the fruit in the blend we tasted, but my money is in some kind of peach/nectarine. I feel that now is the time to stock up on gooikoorts, although Karel did say that it could become a somewhat annual beer. Hope so. For 9 euros a pop, best dam Gueuze I had this year.
