are the Rojo bottles going to stick around or is there a chance they'll see some distro a'la Hose?

Anyone going to de garde today?

I will be there at noon... A couple hill farmstead and Lawson's in tow to share or trade.

Also, if anyone has a styro shipper to spare, my return luggage would be very appreciative !

Unsure if this is the appropriate venue but does anyone heading down on Saturday and returning that night from Pdx have a space in their car? Gas/beer/etc provided of course. Alternatively, if there are people in Pdx who need a ride down I could drive.

Does de Garde usually have bottles for sale? I'll be in PDX in a couple weeks and would love to drive there to pick up some bottles. Will probably go degardless of the bottle situation.

They have as of late, but I'm going to guess everything will be wiped out after CBC

Freudian slip? ;)

will be visiting Oregon in May and it happens to coincide with the De Garde anniversary party :)

bought my tix. anything extra I should know about from those who experienced it last year? I saw last year was a 1 per limit for each bottle, so is it ok if I just walk up to the counter and ask for one of everything they have, throw the 13 or so bottles in my car, and come back in for on-premises tastings? I assume there wouldn't be a problem with that since the reservation system ensures that things won't run out during the party.

I gotta drive back to PDX later so I won't be able to drink too much stuff there (to keep my wits about me), so I'm hoping buying a bunch of bottles, putting them in your car, and then coming back in to enjoy what you can drink is the norm during the party. I don't wanna be "that guy" if this is for some reason frowned upon, but with hundreds of bottles available for each type and a reservation system I don't think people will care, right? one of each and I'm happy lol

Yeah, you'll most likely get a wristband that allows you to come and go as you please.

You won't have a problem doing this. You can by bottles at any time during the party and go to your car whenever you'd like, and still be able to come back in to the party. Last year's anniversary there was a long line to buy bottles, but for the last party, in February, everyone was given a token when they entered, which entitled you to one full allocation of the available bottles. I turned my token in 15 minutes before the party ended and walked away with a full case, and I didn't have to wait for more than 2 minutes.

You can come and go as you please, just don't bring beer (in a glass) outside or past the ropes on the front patio. And don't go immediately get in the bottle line. People were waiting 10-15 minutes right at the start, but frequently the line was less than a minute long by mid way though the event.

cool! thanks for the great tips.

lived in Portland for a year (often frequenting Tillamook) a few years ago, but had to move back here for work. right after I left, De Garde popped up and I've always wanted to visit. Tillamook is such a beautiful place. can't wait to experience it again with this as an awesome added bonus.

Visiting de garde tomorrow for the first time and I'm pumped. The weather is going to be gorgeous.

Hope there are still some bottles left for sale.

Visited De Garde earlier today and had a great time. Nice little setup and the lady running the shop was very friendly and attentive. And of course the beers tasted great. Got plenty bottles and some glasses to-go.

The drive there from Cannon Beach and then back to Portland was very nice and scenic.

I just booked a little trip to the coast for May 3rd - 6th. I'm hoping De Garde will be open the Sunday (May 3rd) after their party, as half of my trip was to visit them!

We'll be open our normal Sunday hours. Should have some of the beers from the party left on draft and for sale to go.
