Looking for some help...
I have a friend that has recently opened up a sizable hop farm growing primarily chinook hops and a small amount of northern Brewer. Every year in October they host a "harvest fest" where they have a party showcasing their hops that a local brewery uses. This year they have asked that I make them a beer in addition to the professional breweries beer!!
Problem with that is, I have never made a "homemade" recipie beer before and don't know where to start. I'd like to make something "fall" like an octoberfest, but really showcase their chinook hops like an IPA... Looking for some ideas on where to start, or if anybody has a baseline recipie that would solve this issue!
I have ordered a few books related to recipie construction too, but wanted to solicite help from you all as well!
Thanks!!
