BYO's beer geek breakfast clone includes

2 pounds/3 ounces of malted oats
and
2 pounds/3 ounces of flaked oats.

I cant get malted oats locally. I read a few threads (example)
https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/flaked-oats-v-oat-malt-189967/

Should I just sub some kind of base malt for the malted oats? or should I add more flaked oats. 4.6 pounds of flaked oats seems excessive.

I have pilsener, light munich, and 2row as well as tons of specialty grains (except malted oats).
I am thinking I should just add more pilsener. Any thoughts from anyone who is knowledgeable?
