O2 regulator body port size?

I want to install a valve on the outside of my O2 regulator (yes, oxygen). What is a normal/standard O2 regulator body female thread size?

I'd imagine the O2 port sizes are the same as CO2.

If you have an industrial O2 regulator (eg: for welding) there may be a different threading used on the outlet vs medical-oriented regulators.

I use one of these and the output of the flow meter is a "DISS 1240" male.

DISS (Diameter-Index Safety system) is a pure-gas standard with different specs for different gases, to prevent someone hooking up their oxygen mask to a CO2 regulator

I'm using a Victor single stage regulator. G350 high capacity.

Right, that's a regulator appropriate for gas welding/cutting. Totally different system wrt standards.
The spec says the outlet is threaded for 9/16"-18, which I imagine is NPT tapered (spec didn't state it)...

Yes, thanks, that's why I'm not 100% sure. Guess, when I have a chance, I'll take back to where it was purchased and obtain a simple valve.
