Hey fellow brewers!
Just wondering what everyone's methods for taking apart sankey kegs and putting them back together. Personally I like using a crowbar to let out pressure then using a screwdriver to pop off o rings.
Iv seen some people drill holes to the O ring and use custom trying tools to get O rings out, wanted to know everyone's methods.
also any tips on what you should do if a screwdriver tip breaks off inside your o ring lol

O ring pick maybe?

Yeah...but thats with 90 duro viton o-rings in oilfield tools. Theyre actually pretty tough even in that application.

They also make brass versions if youre worried. Those shouldnt break...but can be hazardous to your seal gland if youre not careful. Always try to use a pick with material softer than that of the o-ring gland.
