SOLD!

Looking to start piecing together an Electric Herms system for your basement? Snag this and get yourself 75% of the way there. Elements installed using TheElectricBrewery method. They're stainless 2200 watt elements from BrewHardware so you'll either need to build a 20amp controller, or downgrade them to 1650watts to use with the inkbird included here. Or you can swap in 240v elements and use an off the shelf controller/The Electric Brewery panel for faster brew times. All very easy to do. Cheap if you decide to go the 1650watt route.

Whats included

HLT
-Concord 10 Gallon kettle
-2200watt 120v SS Element (no plug or power wire included. You make your own)
-Blichmann 25ft SS herms coil
-recirculation port
-direct plumbed 12v hlt stir/transfer pump
-ball valves and QD Fittings included
-1/2” NPT temp probe not included

Mash Tun
-Gas One 10 gallon kettle with stainless false bottom
-recirculation/sparge port with 1/2” silicone
-ball valves and QD Fittings included
-1/2” NPT temp probe not included

Boil Kettle
-Concord 10 gallon kettle
-2200watt 120v SS Element (no plug or power wire included. You make your own)
-Ss Brewtech whirlpool fitting
-ball valves and QD Fittings included
-1/2” NPT temp probe not included

Inkbird IPB16
-hacked to run 2 pumps and 1 element (under 15amps)
Note - this only accepts up to 1650 watt element and low power pumps so you’ll have to swap the elements if you want to use this. The HLT Pump draws 30 watts, and my Mark II Pump draws around the same, so i pulled just below 15amps when using the Inkbird and 1650 watt elements.

Not pictured but included
-3x lengths of 1/2” silicone with Quick Disconnect ends installed
-24x48 stainless table for it all to sit on

$700 $600 cash and its yours

No trades. Cash only. Local pickup. If you’re looking to get yourself to within 75% of the way done to building an electric home brewery, this is a home run. Upgrading so that’s why I’m selling. Otherwise this system has made over 6bbls to date and plenty of life left in it. Located on Long Island NY

Unrelated to your sale (sorry!) but what do you have as mats under the kettles? What's the material/where'd you get them? Thanks!

Kal

Hey Kal! They’re actually harbor freight anti fatigue mats. They come in packs of like 4 or 5, and they snap together. I just cut out a circle with a utility knife and they’ve worked phenomenally well for years. Easy to clean

Interesting! They're rated for 212F and don't melt I guess?

Edit: I think I found them here: Anti-Fatigue Foam Mat Set, 4 Pack

Mentions that they're neoprene rubber which seems to have a max temp of 275F. Interesting.

Cheers!

Kal
That’s them! Yeah they’re not flexible like wetsuit neoprene like you’d think of a trivet for a pot or pan. They’re more like dense foam. They work great

Bump. Including stainless table with it for an extra $50. Table alone is worth over $250

Hi Sicktght, I might be interested and I'm just across the sound in CT. I was just researching turning my cooler into some kind of a HERMS when I noticed your post. I'm pretty sure I was a member on HBT years ago but I can't find my old login so I had to register a new account and I guess I can't DM yet so please ping me if you're still looking to sell. Thx!

Still have it and yes I’m ready to sell! If you have Instagram, DM me at my brewing account. @lodgebrewingco

Lowered price to $600. Someone take this off my hands so i can make room in my garage
