I was given some wild hops by a friend that picked them outside of Portland last year. Tomorrow I am brewing a Pale Ale and thought that this might be the time to give them a shot. I have no idea what kind of hops they are. There is a hint of fruitiness, mixed with an Earthiness. The brown on them is a bit unnerving. Any suggestions on whether to use them or not?
