Hey everyone,

Do the Northern Brewer food-grade plastic fermenter buckets have a maximum temp? I pour 100C water into them and then let it drop down to 75-80C while I'm mashing. Then when the mash is done I use that water to sparge. I assume other people do this as well.

Is this a good idea? Am I damaging the fermenter bucket by adding boiling water? Am I getting non-toxic plastic residue in my wort before I start boiling?

Thanks brothers (and sisters)
