Normal Krausen for a Starter? (pics inside)

Is this normal? Yeast is WLP001 from White Labs. Super fresh batch, supposedly bottled Dec 2 according to the Best Before date.

Is this normal? Im gonna wait till krausen drops then put it in the fridge for 24 hours , decant and pitch. I used Mr Malty and followed the 10:1 ratio for DME.
 
There isn't a normal, you could just as easily seen no Krausen. I have starters that look like the ones pictured, and some that are less obvious. My point is that the next time you may not see this activity and you shouldn't worry.
