Washington No designated driver entry for the Yakima Fresh Hop Ale Festival?

Then I won't be going.

Pretty lame that the designated driver is not honored with reduced entry fee and free water/soda like every other beer event I've ever been to.

And honestly, their website sucks:

I'm not familiar with that event, but it seems irresponsible to not have reduced fee for the designated driver.

Most of the beer festivals that I have heard advertising on radio in the Philly area actually state in their ads, "Ticket specials for DDs!" I think it's the least they could do.

I didn't go... went to Mt. Vernon instead. North Sound Brewing is awesome, but Farmstrong was very loud, and the beer wasn't great. Birdview in Concrete was good too.

Just before the Yakima event I got a phone call from the promoters (I had left a VM, and it took them awhile to get back to me).
They offered me a special code to enter at checkout for 40% off for the DD. That would have been $27 to drink water. Give me a break.
I encouraged that caller to go back to the group and let them know how stupid that sounds.
