They have nice stainless 'growlers' on sale $10-11 at Northern Brewer. Normally these are about $40.
I bought 3 of them, one of which my teenage daughter stole immediately. They're really nice when you just want to bring some brew over to a friend's house. Also they're insulated and have a wide mouth so you can add ice (obviously to something other than beer) and a nice plastic cap with a silicone seal.
During work, I use them to keep my iced tea cold all day long. And at 5:00, tea mysteriously transforms itself into beer.
