I decided to make the switch from bottling to kegging. A friend of a friend gave me a sixth barrell torpedo keg. This keg is almost new and is stamped "Alaskan Brewing" company. Here's my question, I tried to tap the keg using the coupler that came with my kegerator and something isn't jiving. The coupler will not "seat" in the keg. I tried mutliple times and even had a friend try. Best I can tell the coupler I am using is not made for this size/type of keg. I bought the kegerator used and so I dont' know what type of coupler it came with---I am guessing its a standard D based on the fact the guy I bought it from used the kegerator for standard 15 gallon kegs of coors light. Do I need a different coupler? If so, which one? Thanks.
