Hi,

My name is Steve in Scottsdale, AZ. I'm fairly newbie at home brewing. I have done some with son-in-law (also a newbie) for the last three years. We have upgraded our equipment only in as much as getting a 10 gal boil pot and a wort chiller. Otherwise, like most newbies, we have only done extract kits. I don't plan on doing mash recipes as I like simple and quick. Really enjoy this hobby and of course enjoy the results.

Welcome aboard, Steve!

You might surprise yourself and go with the grains one of these days. We started out with extracts, then partial grain, now we're full-grain.

But whatever you choose, have fun and enjoy the results. Lots of good folks here so ask questions when you have them.
