Newbie Apfelwein Question -- Airlock issue (pic attached)

Hello All:

Made 1st batch of Apfelwein over the weekend (Sun, 1.26) using Motts, Montrachet, 1 cinnamon stick, and Vodka in the airlock. Attached picture is what fermentation looks like as of this morning.

Is this normal and should I consider changing out the airlock???

Yes, hyperactive fermentation does that all the time. Take the airlock off, give it a cleaning, re-sanitize it and all should be well.
