New Wort Chiller

Made a wort chiller today. Nothing special 50 Feet copper 3/8 outside diameter copper. I coiled it around paint cans and just attached the hose with some clamps, I'll add a compression hose attachment later but for now it good

I like the spaces between the coils; I think that as you swirl the IC in the wort, the flow between the coils should help its efficiency.

I have the Northern Brewer Silver Serpent; nicely made, but the coils of SS are tight, and I wish there was a 1/8-1/4" gap between them. I may have to experiment with using some wire or some such to hold them apart, see how much better, if at all, that works.

I love my plate chiller, but ICs have their place. Ive often considered making one for my current system, but just cant pull the trigger.
