I recently got a spike kettle with a drainage and a recirculating port. For Christmas I got a riptide pump and a therminator plate chiller.

Now, is the task to try to put it all together. I need hoses and would like quick connects. What all do I need? How do I connect it all? In what order? Does my pump need a ball valve? How do I connect hoses to the therminator and pump?
Thanks

Only restrict, use a ball valve, on the out of the pump. There are other ways to control/restrict the pump output, but it's always restricting on the pump output.

Keep the pump the lowest item in the setup.

Always, open the values lowest to highest.

You will need QDs where required (for the OP's post where possible to use QD's with the equipment on-hand).

As an example. Pumps are as low as possible.

Riptide pump has a valve built in already.
I used to have all camlock, but switched over to ball lock QDs, so much easier to work with and nicer looking imo
