Hey everybody, I'm Bill from Virginia. Definitely not new to beer but just got into brewing. First batch was a pale ale kit I had lying around, cracked my first one yesterday. Far from great but good enough to get me hooked! Looking forward to learning more!

Cheers!

Welcome. Now get another couple of quality kits and get them going.

I made a move and put a 1 year glitch in my pipeline. House renovating.

Looking forward to getting it going to capacity again. For me, that means (at least) one batch ready to drink, one batch carbonating and one fermenting...

Hey Bill, welcome to HBT!

Was that kit kind of old? Ingredients have a limited shelf life. At least the beer is drinkable--it's all good! Brew a fresh kit and you should notice a big improvement in quality.
