I'm creating a new recipe and I would like a quick help on something.

Does anybody know anything about adding Flavor Extract to beer. From what I have heard, if I'm going to do this I should do a very minimal amount. But I want more people's opinions.

Amazon.com sells this:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0045RIURE/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

The bottle contains 1/2 oz. I would think that 1 should do at least one...maybe 2 in a 1Litre bottle.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Very minimal at first. Pour 2oz of beer in a glass. Add single drops of flavoring just until you can smell it. Then taste it. You counted the drops, right? You can now use the magic of algebra to figure out X drops per 2oz = Y ounces per gallon/5 gallon/etc. The next trick is not to add the full amount at once. Add 1/2-3/4 of what you figured you will need and taste it before adding the rest. You may not need it all and it sure is hard to get back out.
