Just received my M&B and have been looking into all the comments regarding how the temps fluctuate so much. Anyone have experience with insulating it?

Also, is a recirc pump necessary or can I just use manual labor and stir it often? If there was an easy way to put a pump with this device I would appreciate some examples.
