New product from Nor Cal Brewing Solutions BJCP tags for your brewery kegs and taps

So I came up with a little tag that has all the needed BJCP info on that can be used to hang from your tap, your 22 oz bottle your keg or whatever you want to hang it from to ID what you have. I have been using them in my brewery for a while now and decided to offer them up here you you guys. I have been hanging 1 from my keg and 1 from my tap and its amazing how many people ask about them. Its also nice to have the info at your fingertips for your real beer geek friends. Anyway check em out and let me know what you think. I have them for every BJCP category and sub category.

Let me know what you think. I will send out a free tag and chain to anyone who finds a mistake in the tags info that needs to be changed. Respond to this thread if you find any and I will look at it. If I accept it as a mistake that needs to be changed you get a FREE tag of your choice.

That is pretty cool! Why not put the holes along the top so it hangs horizontally? The chain could still go behind the sign so nothing is hidden and it would be easier to read. Very neat idea though!

Great idea! Another suggestion would be to see if you could fit the FG range on the tag too.

Both great ideas for sure. We looked at hanging them the other way but they hit each other when taps are next to each other in the bars and on a tower set up. and they always wanted to slide to one side or another always hanging kind of cockeyed.

I took the FG off the tag so the rest of the information was engraved larger and easier to read. I just thought it was the least significant information from the guidelines. Not that its insignificant just lowest on the scale, and I didn't really want to make the tags any larger.

Standard American lager is 1.040-1.050,
Standard American lager abv, ibu, & srm are off

Gueuze (17E) ABV is 5 to 8%, the tag shows 5.7-7.0
Belgian Dubbel (18B) IBU is 15-25, the tag shows 20-40

Those are the only two errors I found from 14A to 28D and 2A to 9E.

Thanks man we are selling them like crazy. I have been using them on all my kegs and we are now selling a blank CHEEP one that you can write on and re use or toss out and use another. .99 ea or 1.25 with the chain. I love them! I have been writing PBW on one and StarSan and clean and dirty and rinsed tagging my kegs.... You get the idea..
