Hello brewers,
Just wanted to say that another northern va homebrewer has joined the ranks.
Man do I have alot of questions.
If anyone In the nova area is looking for an apprentice or just someone to brew with I could use the experience.
Thanks

Hello. Unfortunately we are headed to wv for skiing all weekend. BringIng my first batch to share with the family. I won't be able to make sun. Do you brew often? I would live to see the all grain method first hand. I have been acquiring the all grain equipment for months now.

Flying Barrel in Frederick is... OK.

Get in on the MD Grain group buy.

Find a few locals that .... say.... want to split a few sacs of Crystal of various lovibond's.....

I'm new to the scene as well. Flying Barrel is nice (and very local for me), but I think the Maryland HomeBrew Store in Columbia has a bit more selection. Some of their inventory is a hair more expensive than the Barrel's, but good place to swing by if you're in the area. I've done a couple Cooper's kits already and have a modified extract recipe in the primary now. I look forward to jumping into a partial mash on the next batch and I'm always open to tips and tricks.
