I have a question. I'm brewing my first batch of kombucha. It got off to a slow start as the temp here is a bit cold. The old mother sank so I moved it to a warmer spot. Once I did the new mother started to form well enough.
Its been just about a week amd a half now and the new mother was forming well. But when I checked today. I noticed that the forming new mother had sank . Its now about 3 inches above the old mother that is still on the bottum of the jar.
Is every thing still ok?
