Like the title says, I've recently started into home brewing. My first batch was 3 gallons of cider with Cooper's ale yeast. A week after I started it I bought a 3 gallon Merlot wine kit from a local shop and started a batch of apfelwein. I just used my family recipe for the apfelwein however the yeast is not the same nor the juice but it is very close to homemade. I used Allen's apple juice bought from the grocery store.

I was wondering if anyone has ever used fresh pressed juiced to make apfelwein. I have access to fresh pressed cider and juice and would like to know some basic steps with fresh juices.
