Hey There!

Jesse here from Holland, Michigan.

New to the forum, I've gleaned a ton of knowledge from this forum as I prepared to start home brewing. I'm starting with cider as it seems to be the least complicated and I enjoy drinking it.

I'm on my 3rd batch (also my largest batch so far) it's been racked into secondary and i'm eagerly waiting to enjoy my first bottle when the time comes!

I'm hoping to try my hand at beer one of these days, i'm sure there's a natural progression into that at some point!

Cheers!

Welcome from Missouri!

I started in the opposite order. Beer first, then cider.

You're in the right spot to learn. Use the search function, browse the forums, or ask a question. There are plenty of experienced brewers that are willing to help.

Cheers!

I started with cider too - it’s the easiest way to get started! Good luck!

Hello Jesse. I am in the same area as you (Zeeland, MI). I am working on restarting home brewing after quit some time off. I currently started a mead I am calling “Failure Is An Option” as I totally expect it to fail. I will hopefully start a proper batch in the next couple of weeks. I am glad to hear of a fellow home brewer near by. I started off with beer, so feel free to reach out with questions and I will help if I am able to.
