So I have a bunch of the new Guinness Draught bottles. Has anyone used these yet for bottling their brew? These new bottles don't have the widget, instead they are hourglass shaped at the bottom. The labels aren't glued on, so that's nice. You can just cut the labels off, no soaking and scraping. My only concern is the way the bottle is shaped. I'm wondering if it will pour the sediment of the homebrew into the glass instead of leaving it at the bottom of the bottle. As convenient as the labels are the bottle is only 11.2 oz. I assume this is because of the unique shape.

Anyone have any thoughts or first hand experience with these?

if left alone long enough in a cold fridge you get mini yeast cakes in the bottle and don't have to worry about it.

I have several I have used many times. I haven't had any problems with sediment. The bonus is you end up with more bottles per batch - even though you lose a bit per bottle.
