I haven't seen any freezers with a split lid so I thought I would post some pics of mine. The lcd on the left isn't working yet but when its done (hopefully this week) it will show the temp and what is on each tap.

Very cool. I think I've got a similar sized freezer and will now have to consider what you have. I like the idea of a tower/coffin but not too keen on having it cooled or a tight access if I need to change things out. The split lid definitely avoids worrying about knocking the tower off when opening though. Mine can fit 4 maybe 5 cornies with the CO2. Do you have any dimensions of your wood work and or pics of the inside of your tower? Thanks for posting!

it's actually a pretty small freezer. I just measured the top and it's about 32X22. it can fit 3 kegs and a 10 lb co2 tank. I can keep the two on tap to the left side under the tower and the third keg and the co2 on the right side (pictures only show 2 kegs). To get the two left kegs out i have to remove the right one but I can leave the co2 in.

For me it works really well. With 2 kids and a wife in school I really don't have time to brew enough to have more then three kegs in the fridge anyway.
